Innovative Business Interiors, Inc.

Innovative Business Interiors, Inc. (IBI), 914 Silver Spring Ave., Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD, 20910, 301-589-1500, has been dedicated to helping the environment ever since opening 20 years ago. IBI provides furniture and design solutions to clients in a variety of industries including: business, education, healthcare and government throughout the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. IBI works to assist our customers to make greener choices by informing them of the benefits of purchasing product from our partner manufacturers that utilize greener manufacturing methods, such as Cradle to Cradle, Greenguard, and that are LEED qualified. We are able to do this by maintaining a database of information that is available to all of our customers throughout the purchasing process.

Within the community, IBI works to support sustainability by shopping locally and educating its staff about options available. In the past, IBI has been a forerunner in Montgomery County’s environmental efforts. IBI helped to establish the inaugural business cooperative recycling program with the cooperation of Waste Management and county officials. We are active in the community in working with others, who share our ecological vision, to seek additional ways to reduce our impact and help influence others to do the same.
